Nigerian customs service has intercepted 102 bags of rumoured plastic rice in Lagos after a tip off on Monday.
The plastic rice branded Beat Tomato Rice was in storage at the time of seizure and was ready for distribution during the christmas holidays in Ikeja, the state capital of Lagos State.
According to the chief of customs in Lagos, Mohammed Haruna, one person has been arrested in connection with the commodity and the distribution point of the seized plastic rice has been blocked for further investigation, local media report.
“We have done the preliminary analysis on the plastic rice. After boiling, it was sticky and only God knows what would have happened if people consumed it,” Haruna disclosed.
“Before now, I thought it was a rumour that the plastic rice is all over the country but with this seizure, I have been totally convinced that such rice exists,” he said while advising the public to be vigilant and report any suspicions of sale of such products.

After reading all our comments on every posts on this blog, I have noticed that the problem is no longer "matched me" but "rematched me"
ReplyDeleteI want all faithful GF to know that we are the architect of this rematching issues. How, when you have 100 comments on a post, 99 are purely negative, how do you expect others joining the family to continue after reading them.
I have once written to support on my page and after few days of patient I was attended to. I knew I have to wait because these quys have thousands of people to attend to. LIKE THE BANK "FIRST COME FIRST SERVE" but some of us need urgent response to the problem we just tabled, thereby making it look like these guys are incompetent.
Please GF, let's table our issues using the "Support Ticket" and be a little patient for their response.

We fill this platform with depressions, discouragements, complaints and all form of negativity, thereby scarring intending participants away.
Givers forum is improving day by day. Other communities do not have an open blog like this where people come and share complaints openly. They all have or had passed through some of these teething challenges, at different stages before stabilizing.
