The Headies 2016 awards may have come and gone but people haven't stopped talking about it and unfortunately they may not for a very long time. This year's awards,in all its 11 years, witnessed the lowest turnout of celebrities and guests.
Though the award wasn't was everyone anticipated,it had a few memorable highlights some of which included the performances of pioneer artists in the Nigerian music industry like Daddy Showkey, Eddy Remedy, Idris Abdulkareem,Tony Tetuila, Ras Kimono, Jazzman Oloffin and even Fuji star Adewale Ayuba and a host of others.
Just like last year's awards where Olamide pulled a major stunt,this year's show wasn't any different either as Starboy's Wizkid pulled a stunt of his own. He made his way through the VIP section,saying hello to fellow artists and then moved in for a hug with Eva Alordiah,purposely snubbing her Fiance who was already extending his arms for a hug. That whole incident was caught live on camera and it couldn't just be ignored.
Admist all these,some stars were absent from this years award and their absence was really noticed. Stars like Olamide(who bagged two awards), Simi, Mavins crew, Yemi Alade, Lil Kesh, Tekno and a host of others.
Permit me to say but I think this years awards was the worst award ever in the history of Headies Awards in Nigeria. On a lighter note,here are the list of this year's winners in no particular order:

ReplyDeleteI made two PHs and after paying out 100K for the first one, I was matched to pay 50K for the second, whereas I wasn't matched to get first GH money with which to service PH2. Fortunately one Paul Pascal was matched to pay me and I was happy but the funny guy uploaded fake proof of payment.
So many persons have one issue or the other in this platform, that needs to change.

I feel the POP confirmation should be scrapped as there are a lot of miscreants here. The receiver should only be able to confirm payment after receiving an alert. How is POP of benefit to anybody? Its just making the innocent ones suffer.As I am right now,i'm scared to gh cos of fake POP .Admin, I know you can see this message, tho you act like you are a ghost. Abeg,do something about this fake POP of a thing. Ppl cnt keep suffering for another person's wickedness while he/she gets away with it

After reading all our comments on every posts on this blog, I have noticed that the problem is no longer "matched me" but "rematched me"

I have once written to support on my page and after few days of patient I was attended to. I knew I have to wait because these quys have thousands of people to attend to. LIKE THE BANK "FIRST COME FIRST SERVE" but some of us need urgent response to the problem we just tabled, thereby making it look like these guys are incompetent.

ReplyDeleteBecause issues were not resolved quickly through the ticketing system, some participants have made here a complain ground. Unfortunately negative news travel faster than positive one. If this blog is allowed to remain it will heighten the panic on ground and cause a big problem for GF.
My suggestions:
1 Support should get more hands to treat every ticket promptly. Problems should not be discussed in a public forum, Keep it private and personal.
2 As a matter of urgency, this blog should be shut down for now. It is no long wealthy to visit here, who will read all these complains and be comfortable? We must realize that economies are driven by emotions. Let us all go back to the ticketing system.
3 News letter (and updates)on how the issues are being handled should be displayed on participants' dashboards frequently. We need to know that something is being done to get through.
Other platforms have same issues but GF is the only one washing her dirty linen in the public.
It's time to move forward

These I believe are some solutions to the problems we have created or think admin has created:
If you are waiting to be rematched please wait a little bit more a few more patience will not kill you. I know how you feel but wait and don't discourage the next person the admin is likely to match you with to pay.
Those having issues with people uploading fake evidence of payment I know you have written to support but that is not enough to prove your case. Please Go to the bank and collect a statement of account which is stamped and signed by your bank to prove that the payment was not made into your account, add your I'D card if you like then create a ticket and write politely about it and upload the respective evidence.
Please Note/ NB! Nobody who did not pay will ever be confirmed at the other end.
If you upload fake teller your account will get a question mark, and blocked eventually.
For those not able to confirm payment : you can create a ticket or send a mail and in it upload your evidence that you have gotten the alert, e.g. statement of account signed and stamped. Or if you are lucky like me send a munched screen showing your credit alert.
For those yet to be matched, under or over matched Sorry about it screen munch your PO all at once and send it to support if you are over matched.
If you were under matched please wait abit.
Make sure your downlines are paying else don't blame Givers Forum for u not been matched.
Never Ever create a pledge if you don't have the money this is what it means;
Today you pledge 50000 and then next week you delete it partially, then pledge 200000, let me advice you, why not just pledge another 150000. To make a total of 200000.
You pledge 150000 and becos of this and that that you are hearing you then cancel the pledge and pledge 20000, and then the system ask you to pay someone 170000 then you upload fake teller. The only way we can confirm that the payer did not pay is with the aid of your statement of account.

Never pay to someone who when you called refused to pick your call, or call back, check if the person is on whatsapp and chat with the person before bringing the issue here to the blog.
